The Womens deadlift belt is made from 2 ply 3" wide Woven Nylon webbing to give the strongest support, while allowing you to deadlift without pinching your hips and stomach the way a traditional leather belt does . Our belts fasten with industrial strength Velcro, so you never have to worry about the belt popping open or slipping During the middle of a heavy lift. This simple answer came about while Spud was watching his wife do rack deadlifts one day and noticed the belt kept rolling up into the rib cage and limiting range of motion so she had a harder and uncomfortabletime getting to the bar. Since the belt is 3 inches and flexes with the body, it gives the same support and reliabilty as a leather belt while keeping your grimace factor down while you lift you personal record.

3 ply Deadlift Belt:
The Spud, Inc. 3 ply deadlift belt is great for heavy lifting such as deadlifts, rows, shrugs and even strongman events such as the tire flip, yolk, and log press. The Spud, Inc. deadlift belt gives enough support to make you feel safe, but is pliable enough to be more comfortable than a traditional leather power belt. The Spud, Inc. deadlift belt will not pinch your hips or ribs like a traditional belt, and has minimal break in time.

2 ply Deadlift Belt:
The Spud, Inc. 2 ply deadlift belt is a versatile belt that can be worn by many people in many types of sports. The Spud, Inc. 2 ply deadlift belt can provide the support for exercises such as deadlifts, rows, and light squats, but has the pliability to be used during snatches, cleans, and much more.
Who should use the 2 ply deadlift belt: CrossFitters, Powerlifters, Strongmen and any athlete that is new to training with a belt.
What is the difference between the men’s and the women’s deadlift belt?
Men’s belts are made out of 4” nylon. The women’s belts are made out of 3” nylon to accommodate a smaller space between the hips and ribs.
How should, Spud, Inc. Belts Fit?
Spud, Inc. belts can fit several ways. Belts can have a small (less than 2”) gap between ends and still give the desired support. If the belt is worn with a small gap, some find it best to wear the belt backwards (gap in the back). Belts can be worn with the ends overlapping to achieve maximal tightness. Belts can be worn over clothing, over other back supports such as rehab back supports, or on bare skin.
How do I choose the right size for me?
Spud, Inc. belts come in Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large. Custom belts are also available. To find the belt that fits you best measure the area where you will wear the belt. This is most commonly around the belly button. Once you have found your measurement subtract 2” from that number to get your belt size. For example, if your measurement at you belly button is 36” you would subtract 2” to come up with 34”. Your belt size would be a medium.
Small Belts fit 24”- 30” around the belly button
Medium Belts fit 29 - 34” around the belly button
Large Belts fit 35” - 40” around the belly button
X-Large Belts fit 40” - 46” around the belly button
XX- Large Belts fit 46” - 52” around the belly button
